After an amazingly beautiful wedding ceremony, my husband (omg husband!) and I made the 10 hour drive to Orlando, FL. (would have been 8 if I was driving! lol :) )
Our Hotel
We finally found our hotel around 11 am on Monday the 22nd, and were allowed to check in early to our 9th floor room. We were given two queen beds instead of one king, and probably co0uld have switched with no hassle at all, but we decided bed #2 can store our stuff and a smaller bed just gives us more reason to cuddle. We still haven't found our room safe (which every room in the hotel has) and the hot water wasn't working for about two hours on that first day, but really, we couldn't give a hoot about that. We have a beautiful view that includes the Epcot ball and a private balcony. Also, the beds are SOOOO comfortable.
Monday
All we did was sit around in our hotel room and sleep most of the day away. We had a long drive and the thought of going to any parks was horrifying. Around 7 we went to an IHOP that was around the corner and walked it off in a large gift shop next door where I bought a beautiful navy blue dress. We went back to the hotel, watched some NCIS, and went to sleep. This is the resident squirrel at our hotel. He comes around twice a day, sits on the valet desk, and asks for food. He comes so close, which is weird to me, because in SC, squirrels are very skittish and jump at their own shadows. This little guy let Keith get right up next to him and touch him. It was super cool.
