Honeymoon, Tuesday the 23rd

Tuesday
On Tuesday we went to Universal Studios. I'm not sure if any of you know, but Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are right next to each other, connected by a free area called City Walk. As soon as we went inside City Walk, there was an amazing mini golf course we knew we had to try. It was full of aliens and whatnot, and was almost completely empty! We didn't feel rushed, and we had an amazing time.

After, we went into Universal Studios. We did just about everything available to do, at least from an amusement standpoint. We've stayed out of most stores unless the ride opens into one (and most do). All they do is make us wish we had more money to spend! Almost every ride had a crazily short line. Thanks to the time of year, this place is empty compared to June, July, and August.

Here are some of the rides we went on and tings we saw.

Below: A sign leading on to Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem, which was tons of fun! I love 3D ride simulators

For lunch, we went to the famous Hard Rock Cafe. The one in Orlando is the largest one in the world. I had a 3 cheese macaroni and cheese with grilled chicken and  red peppers and just a hint of hot sauce. it. was. AMAZING. Keith had a burger, which he also says was amazing. We ended the mean with a hot fudge brownie with ice cream. Definitely an amazing meal.

Here are Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey!
Awesomely cool pharaohs outside the mummy ride.

Awesome pharaohs inside the mummy ride.

The sassy director of the Disaster ride where we made our own movie trailer.

Sitting in the audience of Fear Factor Live! I almost convinced Keith to be a contestant, but we decided to move on.

Back into City Walk.

Sorry it's upside down, but that night we went to see The Host! It was a wonderful end to a wonderful day.
We had an amazing day and got to do so much!
